Some of you knew me as "SocketsMan" from my last company.

Others might know me for connecting conveyors, pick-to-lights, diverters, scales, to the AS/400 in real-time. And, yet others may have implemented my native iSeries AS/400 iSeries Credit Card Software for authorization and settlement.
And, for those who do not know me...
The Founder of Curbstone, Ira Chandler, has been a programmer and software architect for over 35 years. His AS/400-i software accomplishments include the following:
1981 – started programming communications software for a living...
1988 – founded the company that would grow into ROI Corporation.
1991 – started architecting and writing AS/400 native real-time communications software, primarily linking AS/400s in real-time to materials handling systems like conveyors, scales, and pick-to-lights.
1991 – Sold and Implemented First AS/400™ for State of Georgia
1992 – First Commercial AS/400 Full Duplex Serial Software
1993 – authored the FIRST commercial credit card processing software for the IBM AS/400. That software and it's derivatives grew into the most popular native AS400 iSeries credit card software application (payment server) over the last 18 years.
1996 – First Commercial AS/400 Full Duplex Sockets Middleware
1996 – First Commercial AS/400 Card Software with Encryption
1999 – ROI Acquires GO Software from Network Commerce
2000 – Takes ROI Corporation Public
2002 – To provide the highest level of AS/400-specific support, I left ROI and started Curbstone Corporation, an IBM Business Partner. Our focus is, of course, exclusively, on the iSeries AS400 i5 Power i - or whatever the heck they call it today.
2002 – Ira incorporates Curbstone Corporation
2004 – ROI and GO sold to Verifone
2005 – Released Curbstone Card, 4th Generation Card Middleware
2005 – Curbstone Card First Validated by Visa/PCI as Secure
2005 – Curbstone Card won the TechTarget Search400.com "Products of the Year" Silver Award for B2B solutions.
2006 – Selected by IBM for “System i Developers’ RoadMap”
2008 – First AS/400 Free Native PHP App (Mantis400.com)
2008 – First AS/400 PHP Application (Shopping Cart Pipeline)
2011 – Achieved 300 Licensed Curbstone Card™ Customers
Under his guidance, Curbstone has grown to be the largest software company in Greater Metropolitan Ball Ground, Georgia, population ~765.
Curbstone's AS/400 iSeries credit card software is capable of thousands of transactions per minute. However, it is also scalable and affordable for the small business doing 50 transactions per day.
